According to the National Park Service, Yellowstone was the 5th most visited National Park in 2018 with 4,115,000 visitors. Grand Teton National Park fell at 8th place with 3,491,151 visitors, and Glacier National Park was 10th with 2,965,309 visitors. Hipcamp has eased the way to finding both private and public campsites on their website showing availability from all sites. Hipcamp accounts for private parties who have registered on Hipcamp, as well as public reservation sites. Keep in mind Hipcamp does not show private camping opportunities from places who are not registered with Hipcamp and you must still book public campgrounds through external sites.
